Description

Chitraka-haitaki is an excellent and very common classical formulation of Ayurveda having alterative and expectorant effects. It is first prepared in Avaleha (lickable) form and later dried and prepared in granular form. It is palatable & effective for treating cough, coryza, sinusitis, headache etc.

Therapeutic Actions and Indications

It is expectorant, digestive and carminative, appetizer and alterative. It is used with very good results in cough, chronic catarrh, chronic sinusitis, headache, loss of appetite, abdominal distention, etc.
