Managing Amoebiasis & Gut Discomfort Naturally with Amati Tablets

Amati tablet contains classically recommended medicinal plants used in Ayurveda, which are          effective against amoebic dysentery. The efficacy of the ingredients contained in Amati have been established by British Pharmaceutical Codex and reconfirmed by Clinical trial done in Teku Hospital, Kathmandu against Entamoeba histolytica infestation. The trail has shown “Amati” to be 97.5% successful to eradicate both cyst and trophozoites. An additional blind trail has also been conducted in the same hospital in comparison with allopathic drug Metronidazole. Amati was found to be as effective as metronidazole but with no side effects.

Compositions: Each 500 mg tablet contains:

Holarrhena antidysenterica  (70%)

Pimpinella anisum (30%)

Processed with the decoction of Holarrhena antidysenterica bark

Science behind the Amati tablet:

Connesine is the principle alkaloid of Holarrhena antidysenterica, whose amoebicidal activity is proved. It is amoebidical in 1:280,000 dilution after 8 minutes in presence of alkali medium and 18 minutes in the absence of alkali medium.

Indications:

It is indicated in intestinal amoebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica, dysentry and general diarrhoea.

Adverse effects & Contra indications:

It has negligible toxic effects. it may cause dryness of mouth and nausea in some cases. the side effects subside after discontinuation or completion of use.

Dosage:

Two tablets three times a day to be taken orally on empty stomach for 7 days or as directed by physician.

Presentation:

Available in bottles of 60 tablets.
